Sally Turner

Sally began her career as a registered nurse, eventually advancing into a management role. Her first foray into a sales role came through a contract with a multinational dialysis company, where she supported their initial machine trials. This sparked a passion for sales that Sally went on to develop in the years to come. With a specific interest in vascular access for dialysis, she worked to distribute and support these devices for both small distributors and multinational companies across ANZ, APAC, and globally.

When her previous company transitioned its vascular access portfolio to a distributor - Getz Healthcare - Sally decided to follow the products and join the Getz Healthcare team. In her current role as Product Manager, she shares what this entails:

“With a broad scope of responsibilities, my role includes managing sales, product strategy and clinical support for the products I look after..”

“My objectives are to meet my sales targets, support customers with the clinical application of our products, and develop and maintain strong relationships with both customers and business partners. Additionally, I provide internal support to the wider Getz Healthcare team, including within customer support, regulatory, quality and logistic capacities.”

A big part of the ethos at Getz Healthcare is ensuring that all the healthcare professionals we work with receive the on-going support and high-quality services they need. With her clinical background and international experience in product management, Sally is uniquely positioned to understand her customers’ needs.

She explains:

Communication is essential, no matter what information we’re providing. We work as a team. Because of my clinical background, I feel a strong sense of responsibility toward the patients who ultimately benefit from our products. In all my interactions with customers, patient needs are always at the heart of what I do.”

Reflecting on the highs and lows of the profession right now, Sally cites the team she works with and wider supply chain challenges respectively. She adds:

“It’s a pleasure to work alongside people who share a common goal and are proactive in ensuring our customers receive consistent, high-quality service from Getz Healthcare. I would describe those I work with as dedicated, motivated and team-oriented, with these qualities contributing to building lasting customer relationships and delivering meaningful healthcare solutions to the people of Asia Pacific.”
