The SafePass prevents suture fraying and breakage during the application, and its spring-loaded blunt style springs forward rapidly and smoothly once the peritoneal cavity is entered.

The reusable cone-shaped pilot guides accurately angle the Suture Grasper device to capture all tissue layers for full closure of fascia and peritoneum, prevent loss of pneumoperitoneum during port site closure, and help prevent late wound complications.
