The Utah Medical Finesse II+ Electrosurgical Generator is a versatile electrosurgical system with a built-in smoke evacuation system, plus variable output and mode controls.
Providing excellent clinical results for a broad range of procedures, the system is designed to meet the highest performance and safety standards currently required for electrosurgery.
The Finesse II+ is designed to provide intact cervical specimens with clean margins, allowing for conclusive histopathology results for LETZ. There are no front panel adjustments necessary, making Finesse II+ operation as effective as possible. The Finesse II+ filtration system uses a three-stage filtration system to evacuate and filter smoke plumes produced during electrosurgery, with a minimum efficiency of 99.999% for 0.1 micron particles.
The system includes an activated charcoal filter, which absorbs odorous gases, and two high-efficiency particulate filters, which remove solid particles and aerosols.
The Finesse II+ incorporates Controlled Output Circuitry+ to produce the best tissue specimen for conclusive histopathology. Controlled Output Circuitry+ is Utah Medical’s advancement of ‘Intelligent Cut’ circuitry, which maintains the output within a prescribed cutting range by monitoring and continuously adjusting the output to produce a specimen with minimal thermal damage at the margins.
This eliminates any need to adjust the output setting when changing loop sizes.
