The Meise Autologous Serum Eye Drops Production System is a functionally closed system that provides an alternative for the safe preparation of serum eye drops for therapy-resistant cornea problems.
While other procedures for making eye drops are complex and expensive, the new Meise production system allows for autologous serum eye drops to be produced safely, quickly and economically.
The closed system guarantees a sterile and safe process during the full operation.
All applicators are sealed individually and receive special label holders, so that they can be accurately matched with the appropriate patients.
One serum bag can be used to fill up to 36 individual applicators (available in 1.5ml or 3ml), which are ready to be used.
One single blood donation yields up to more than 130 single vials of serum eye drops, depending on the physical status of the patient or the donor. Dilution leads to an even higher yield respectively.
