The Australian & Aotearoa New Zealand Hepatic, Pancreatic and Biliary Association will be holding its annual meeting in October, titled “Distance and Diversity”. It will present a programme tailored to HPB and rural surgeons, as well as trainees. Topics will include quantity and quality measures, the challenges of difficult HPB cases in low volume centres, and the importance of high volume centres. It will also be an opportunity to network with experts and colleagues in the field.

The Getz Healthcare team will be showcasing our interventional portfolio, including the NanoKnife System from AngioDynamics – which is the first available surgical ablation system based on irreversible electroporation (IRE) for highly precise ablation. Also on display will be the Solera Microwave Tissue Ablation System, uniquely designed to complete up to 5mm ablation in just six minutes at max power output and using a single applicator.
