The revolutionary Automatic Patting System (APS) is a newly developed and patented device capable of performing a plethora of skin, body and hair aesthetic procedures, including improving skin elasticity, tone and texture, reducing fine lines, wrinkles, scars and cellulite, and rejuvenating hair follicles.
Developed by a leading team of research scientists in Italy and backed by three global patents, there are seven key technologies that work to power the APS:
Controlled Microdermabrasion
This patented method works on the principle of Collagen Induction Therapy. Tiny devices (encased within surgical steel with a double cone shape) safely subject the skin to multiple microtraumas to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.
Acoustic Waves
Pressure impulses are generated extracorporeally and applied in a targeted manner to create a tissue shock and increase cellular metabolism. A variation in acoustic properties, such as density or sound velocity at the interfaces between different tissues (skin, fat cells or muscles) creates a leap in acoustic impedance with consequent release of energy.
Transdermal Delivery System
This non-invasive and painless technique allows for the transmission of active ingredients into the skin without needles. The technique concurrently causes transient permeability and a tension action of skin tissues to directly deliver the active ingredients.
Fractional Bipolar Radiofrequency
Controlled and localised heat causes an immediate contracting of the collagen fibres at the level of the deep dermis to provide a lift to the skin that is visible from the first treatment, with a progressive effect occurring in the following four to six months.
Iontophoresis (Electro Stimulation)
The administration of a drug via a transcutaneous route using a direct current provides a further lifting effect that increases the absorption of active ingredients.
Vacuum System
This effective suction action keeps skin safely engaged with the APS device during treatment.
Photo Stimulation
Blue and red LED light emissions are absorbed by skin cells to maximise the efficacy of the treatment, particularly when targeting acne, superficial marks and wrinkles.
